Srinagar, Aug 01 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Sat Sharma on Friday extended a formal invitation to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to visit the Union Territory. Sharma, according to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) called on the Home Minister in New Delhi today and told him that his J&K visit would greatly motivate the party cadre and support ongoing developmental efforts. The BJP’s J&K UT President discussed key issues concerning the region and the party’s organizational matters. Sharma congratulated the Home Minister on the successful ‘Operation Mahadev,” which neutralized terrorists behind the Pahalgam attack, and termed it a major step under the broader ‘Operation Sindoor’ to secure lasting peace in J&K. He also lauded Shah's strong leadership in combating terrorism and promoting grassroots governance—(KNO)
